I was very motivated to do sunrise again this morning even though we still have constant 50mph winds, and then I let go of my tripod for a half a second and it flipped over and dunked my camera in the snow. .. So I said #$@* it, and came home. SO now you get an old swan shot instead.
Hope your having a great Tuesday!

on April 7, 2011A few months ago I dropped mine on concrete with far worse results.

on April 7, 2011Very lucky. It could have been a lake, or a rock, or just dirt. Glad things are ok. Tripods are always top heavy especially when you have 50mph winds. Cheap lesson.

on April 6, 2011Really beautiful drip coming down from the swan's mouth.
Sure hope no harm done. Maybe not too wet and the snow was a good cushion.

on April 6, 2011I like your old swan shot! Nice detail on the swan and the water looks very pretty. I had a few scary moments yesterday with my tripod and camera as well. You're probably fortunate it fell in the snow and not concrete. I can't wait until this crazy weather settles down!
