Downloaded a free trial of photomatix so I'm playing with the program. I haven't quite decided if I like this or not, I generally don't do many edits other than color and sharpness. Either way, Milano Cookies were a challenge geometry wise to get a good focus on, at least they were tasty for practicing on!
